I'm Stephanie, brand and website designer with a love for helping women build their dream business. I'm here to help you get get that custom look for your business - without the custom price.
I love playing around with colour palettes. There’s something so fun about putting colours together, seeing what works (and what definitely doesn’t!) And creating a beautiful colour palette for your Showit website is a vital step you don’t want to skip over.
Colour plays such an important role in the user experience on your website. If you are using too many colours or colours with too much contrast your website visitors could be overwhelmed or distracted. However, using too many light tones with not enough contrast, creates the opposite effect. You’re visitors can’t see what’s on the page. Either way, it’s not good.

It can take some trial and error getting the perfect combination and correct tones for your colour palette. But once you have good balance and harmony between the colours you choose, the amazing impact is undeniable. This involves selecting a good variety of tones, both light and dark, that complement each other and can also stand on their own.
Have fun with the process, but also think about the vibe and aesthetic you are trying to achieve. Once you get a feel for how colours work together and the psychology behind them, you will have a colour palette that perfectly aligns with your brand and works for your website.
Below I’ve created some colour palettes just for you to provide some inspiration for your own design.
I hope these colour palettes help you with creating your own palette. Or if you need some help, my Semi-Custom Brand Design package includes your own personalized colour palette to make your semi-custom brand truly your own.
